Academia Sinica has:

• 231 Academicians of which 77 are Domestic Academicians and 154 are Overseas Academicians. Of the total, 57 academicians work in Humanities and Social Sciences; 98 in Mathematics and Physical Sciences; and 76 in Life Sciences.
  
• 947 Principle Investigators: 56 Distinguished Research Fellows; 325 Research Fellows; 220 Associate Research Fellows; 180 Assistant Research Fellows; 84 Research Assistants; 9 Assistants; 12 Senior Research Specialists; 16 Associate Research Specialists; 44 Assistant Research Specialists; and 1 Research Technician.
  
• 562 Postdoctoral Fellows.
  
• Total 1888 students of which 958 are Ph.D. students; 864 Master¡¦s degree students; 66 students.
